The American indie band Small Black, known for cooperating with Toro Y Moi and Washed Out, released a new album "Cheap Dreams" after five years. The band formed in 2009, inspired by Synth Pop, Dream Pop, Hip Hop, R&B, and other elements from the 1980s to create smooth melody and dance music. The single "Despicable Dogs" released in 2009 cemented them as pioneers of Chillwave.
